Vietnam Golf Package

07 Nights / 06 Days Package cost : On request

Vietnam, locally known as ‘The Heart of Southeast Asia’, is a long, thin country bordered by China, Laos and Cambodia. Emerging after decades of internal strife and brutal wars, Vietnam has since become one of the fastest growing economies in the world. It’s economy is more stable than countries like Cambodia and Laos, and the economic redevelopment efforts by the government have contributed to a yearly economic growth of over 10%.

Vietnamese culture is predominantly dominated with hints of its colonized past. Due to long occupation by China, several aspects of the culture and architectural style are heavily influenced by that of Southern China. However, Vietnamese culture has also absorbed aspects of neighboring Hindu cultures like the Champa and Khmer civilizations from Cambodia. The French have left a lasting impact, with Baguettes and coffee being introduced to the local palette, while American influences are visible in dress and behavior.

Vietnam is also fast being recognized as one of the upcoming golfing destinations in the world. Named as the ‘Undiscovered Golf destination of the year’ in 2012, there are 35, professionally designed and challenging courses which make it a must visit spot for both the ardent golf professional as well as the passionate amateur, looking to tee off amidst some spectacular natural landscapes.

Tee off in Vietnam with Born Voyager’s 6 days/7 nights golf holiday package.

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Fly in to Tan Son Nhat International airport in Ho Chi Minh city. Post disembarkation and immigration procedures, our representative will escort you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in procedures. Post that, the rest of the day is yours to relax and explore Ho Chi Minh city at leisure. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh is the largest city and the economic center of Vietnam. Formerly the administrative capital of the Southern Vietnam regime, Ho Chi Minh offers an incredible view of Vietnamese culture and its colonial history with its French-inspired landmarks and quarters, while American popular culture references can be found in youth dominated gaming parlours and cafes across the city. Understand the country’s cultural past by visiting the Museum of Vietnamese History, with a fine collection of Vietnamese antiquities. The Reunification Palace is a throwback to the 60s, with the entire palace looking like it hasn’t moved beyond that time. The tank which crashed into the main gate and ended the Southern Vietnamese regime now has a pride of place with a large display and remains one of the most visited attractions in Ho Chi Minh. Explore the city like the locals with a motorcycle, check out the amazing panoramic views of Ho Chi Minh from the Saigon Skydeck. At night, treat yourself to an open top Vintage car tour and discover unsung neighborhoods, multi-faceted aspects of the city and mysterious and secret streets which only the locals know. Head back to your hotel at night and relax. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Hotel – Song Be Golf Resort

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the famous Song Be Golf Resort. Vietnam’s first international standard golf course, Song Be opened its doors in 1994 and boasts of 3 different courses, perfect for all kinds of golfers. The Palm and Lotus courses range from low to intermediate levels in difficulty, while the challenging Desert course combines sand traps, bunkers and unusually thin fairways to make a challenging day of golf. ‘Song Be’ literally translates to ‘little river’ and water, therefore, features heavily in the course landscape. A fully equipped and modern club house provides ocean and sand dune views to golfers as they prepare to tee off or relax post their game. Post your game, drop in to the clubhouse to have some lunch before heading back to Ho Chi Minh city. In the evening, head to the 50th floor of the Bitexco Financial Tower, in the heart of the city’s financial district. The bar located on the 5oth and 52nd floors is popular with nearby office-goers and locals and is well-known to offer great views of the city. At night, head back to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Dalat

On Day 3, after breakfast, begin your journey to the southern city of Dalat. Built as a mountain getaway for French officials who couldn’t handle the heat and humidity of Ho Chi Minh city, Dalat is considered a cross between a Vietnamese city and a city in the French Alps. The journey from Saigon takes about 7 hours, and takes a break in the middle at Bao Loc, in the Vietnamese Central Highlands. The journey allows a fascinating glimpse of the primarily agrarian economy of Vietnam with lush green fields, peaceful farmlands and friendly locals in small cities and villages along the way. Post arrival in Dalat, our representative will assist you with the check-in formalities to your hotel. Post that, the rest of the day is yours to relax and explore the city of Dalat. On your first night, relax at one of the French-inspired cafes all across the cities and have a traditional Vietnamese meal. Wash it down with a glass of strong Vietnamese iced coffee, while ineracting with locals and tourists from across Vietnam and the world. Head back to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Dalat.

Day 4: Dalat Palace Golf Club

After breakfast, prepare to play a round of golf at the challenging Dalat Palace Golf Club. This scenic and enjoyable golf club dates back to the early 1920s and was fully built with the support of the last Vietnamese emperor, who was an ardent golfer. It has hosted many international golfers, including Billy Casper. The course, abandoned twice, has now completed its comeback and remains one of the major golfing destinations in the world. The Brett Stensen designed course is an enjoyable challenge for golfers with all handicap levels, while the clubhouses, dating back to 1956, combine old world charm and architecture with modern infrastructure and service. Cap off a memorable day of golf with a meal at the clubhouse before heading back to your hotel. Visit the neighboring palaces, which once housed the last emperor of Vietnam, before the end of colonial occupation. In the evening, check out the Nha Tho Domaine de Marie, a pink church located on a hill, which sells dried fruits and snacks, prepared by the nuns of the church. You can also take a walk along the banks of the beautiful Xuan Huong lake, one of the main draws of Dalat, or go shopping at the Dalat market and pick up some locally made and delicious strawberry jam. Grab a meal at one of the cafes and then head back to your hotel to relax. Overnight stay in Dalat.

Day 5: Dalat – Phan Thiet

After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for your journey to Phan Thiet. The journey down to the coast takes about 4 – 5 hours to complete and affords some spectacular mountain as well as ocean views. Phan Thiet, the capital of the Binh Thuan province, is known for its world famous fish sauce as well as its beautiful beaches, thus making it a haven for visiting tourists. After checking in to your hotel, head down to either the beach of Ke Ga, or Tien Thanh. Known for calm waters and peaceful surroundings, these beaches are popular among the tourists. Further up, the 10 km long stretch along the Rang Beach is a happening destination, with beachfront bars and restaurants, happening nightspots and quaint local cafes. Spend sometime with locals and tourists from across the world and have a traditional Vietnamese meal before heading back to your hotel to relax. Overnight stay in Phan Thiet.

Day 6: Sea Links Golf Club – Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast at the hotel, tee off at the challenging Sea Links Golf Club. Located at the heart of some truly beautiful countryside, each hole at the golf course comes with its own unique charm, views and challenges. The designers of the course have retained much of the natural white sand dunes as a part of the course, thus adding to the challenging nature of the course. Sea Links offers golfers amazing ocean views and a panoramic view of Mui Ne Bay. The golfing experience is considered to be unparalleled anywhere in Asia, and remains a must-visit course for all golfers. After your game and a quick lunch at the clubhouse, prepare to head back to Ho Chi Minh city. In Ho Chi Minh, transfer to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
