For bird watchers, Nalsarovar is a paradise. The best time to visit is from November to February. Nalsarovar houses large varieties of indigenous and migratory birds. Patan is worth visiting, owing to the fact that it is the leading center of manufacturing of the intricately designed Patola silk saris. It is also the ancient capital city of Ahmedabad. Thus, the place is usually well liked by the historians, who are always in the quest to explore more and more facts about the past.
Sasan Gir is a charming village situated near the Gir National Park.
Gir is a National Park and a Wildlife sanctuary and the only one in Asia having Asiatic lions (Asiatic lions as compared to ones in Africa are smaller in size).
Wildlife enthusiasts from all over India and world visit Gir for the purpose of sighting Asiatic Lion. Gir is also a bird watching destination and guests looking to sight Alligators/crocodiles and Leopards.Savanna (Grassland) kind of landscape ensures that the sightings are good even from a distance.
Other mammals that could be seen during game-watching drives are sambar (India’s largest deer), spotted deer, the world's only four-horned antelope, blue bull, Indian gazelle, wild boar, langur, jackal, jungle cat, rusty-spotted cat, striped hyena and a black-naped hare.For Birders, Oct-March is the best time to visit for Migratory birds such as Paradise Flycatcher, Grey Drongo, Grey & Painted Francolin, Painted Sandgrouse, Bush Quail, Crested Hawk Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Bonelli's Eagle, Shikra Hawk, Sirkeer Cuckoo and White-necked Stork.
After breakfast drive to Dasada, and proceed for full day jeep safari into the Little Rann Of Kutch. The Little Rann of Kutch: The highlight of this sanctuary is the Asiatic Wild Ass or 'Gudkhur' that is endemic to the region and is one of the most endangered species in the world. Other mammals that could be seen are Nilgai, black buck antelope, Chinkaragazelle, Indian wolf, Indian desert foxes, jackals and lesser cats. Also is a paradise for bird watchers. The key dry land birds are McQueen’s houbara bustard, chestnut bellied and spotted sand grouse, Indian coursed, 13 species of larks and sparrow larks, 5 of quails (including buttonquails), thick-knee, desert warbler, desert and variable wheatear, Aquila eagles, short toed snake eagle, six species of falcon and three harriers. Five species of vulture have been recorded. Apart from all these you can hope to see greater and lesser flamingo, three species of pelican, spoonbill, demoiselle and common cranes, and a number of ducks in flocks of several thousand during winters.

After breakfast drive to SasanGir. Arrivals at SasanGir check in at Hotel. GIR - Is the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. Gir's bio-diversity rivals any National Park in India. The forest harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Spotted deer, Blue bull, Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur. NOTE: SasanGir Sanctuary remains closed from 15th June to 15th Oct. every year.

After early breakfast drive to Bhavnagar. On arrival, check in at hotel and later in the afternoon drive to Velavadar Black Buck Sanctuary.Velavadar National Park: The best national park for black buck viewing in India is the 36sq km, which comprises a tapestry of grasslands and scrubby plains reminiscent of the African Savanah. The national park also provides suitable habitat for the endangered Indian wolf, the jackal, the Indian fox, the jungle cat, blue bull antelope and hare to proliferate successfully and attracts a large number of birds.

Today we will drive to Ahmedabad 187 km enroute visiting Lothal. Lothal: A perfect place to get an insight of the Indus Valley civilization. The most dominating site at Lothal is the massive dockyard spanning an area of 37 meters by 22 meters perhaps the greatest work of Maritime Architecture. Lothal was also famous for its arterial streets, microbes of gold, ivory and coppersmiths' workshops, potteries and underground sanitary drainage. It is located at a distance of 78 kms from Ahmedabad. (Closed on Fridays).Drive to Airport to board flight for your next destination.
